Ürgüp, Göreme and Avanos

These regions are an enormous totality of soil formed by wind and rain for millions of years of the layer formed by lava and ashes erupted by 3 volcanoes named Erciyes, Hasan Mountain and Güllüdağ, which were active 60 million years ago. Christians came to the region in the 4th century AD and the real beauty of these settlements, which are the showcases of Cappadocia, emerges after this period. With the increasing pressure on them, the region provides the Christian people the opportunity to take refuge, worship and live as they wish, churches, monasteries and houses are carved into the soft tuff layer. These extraordinary human-made carved buildings combine with the naturally occurring "Fairy Chimneys", creating an incredible sight. Today, buildings carved into houses by people for centuries continue to be used as houses, hotels and restaurants.

Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu Underground Cities

One of the most special places in the Cappadocia region is its underground cities. These are incredible structures that emerged as a result of the merging of small chambers and tunnels that the locals dug under their own houses to protect them from enemy raids. These cities, some of which are large enough to accommodate 30,000 people, are one of the most impressive man-made structures. These cities, which contain hundreds of chambers, corridors and corridors, are specially designed to deceive, trap and confuse the enemies who enter. The underground cities where small bedrooms, large halls, cellars and wine cellars, ventilation systems and water wells coexist in an extraordinary harmony where only one or two people can fit have enabled the locals to live away from the enemies for days, weeks and sometimes months.

Ihlara Valley

It is known that the first settlement in Ihlara Valley started in the 4th century. This valley and the churches carved into the rocks in the valley, which was created by the Melendiz Stream by creating a canyon with a length of 14 kilometers and a depth of 100-200 meters, have survived to our day. The valley, which is one of the first places to come to mind when talking about Cappadocia, is located in Ihlara Town of Güzelyurt district.

Wine Houses

Cappadocia's winemaking tradition, which has been kept alive for generations and brought to the present as a cultural treasure, continues to enchant people today. The people who grow their grapes in their own vineyards and process them in their own facilities are continuing a wonderful craft that everyone should definitely taste. The white and red wines of the region are made using the best quality local wine grapes of Anatolia, Kalecikkarası, Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Emir, Narince and Dimrit.

Uçhisar

Uçhisar, the highest point of Cappadocia, is located 5 km from the city center. The town, which is built on the hill where the most beautiful panoramic view of the entire Cappadocia region is made, and Uçhisar Castle, named after this town, is also known as the gate of Cappadocia. This is one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset.

İbrahimpaşa

Grand Vizier Damat İbrahim Pasha is the Ottoman pasha who laid the foundations of today's Nevşehir with his own development plan. The most important building in the village, where bridges, inns, baths, madrasas and mosques were built, is the Damat İbrahim Pasha Complex. Kurşunlu Mosque, on the other hand, is a structure known as İbrahim Pasha Mosque, located in a courtyard surrounded by a high and thick wall.

Pigeon Valley

Güvercinlik Valley, a 4100-meter trekking valley extending from Uçhisar to Göreme, takes its name from the pigeons that feed in nests called pigeon lofts carved into the valleys. A unique area to watch the pigeons and enjoy the view.
