ANTALYA ARCHEOLOGY MUSEUM

Antalya museum with rich collection of ancient Roman sculpture and is among the best in Turkey. You can see statues of Gods, Goddesses and Roman Emperors in this museum. Most of the statues belong to the nearby city PERGE. Antalya Museum is only 10 minutes away from the city center and can be reached by tram every half hour.

KALEICI MUSEUM AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE:

The first museum of Antalya is located in Kaleiçi. The Orthodox church was restored and turned into a museum and became a research institute. Here you can see traditional Turkish houses redecorated in local style.

HADRIANUS GATE (THREE DOORS):

2C AD, the first and only Roman monument in Antalya. There is a specially constructed marble door of Emperor Hadrianus in the monumental door left from the Hadrian Emperor.

UP WATERFALL:

20 km from the city center. There is a public park with small lakes and pine trees.

DOWN WATERFALL (ALSO KNOWN AS WATERMELON)

It is located in the city center of Antalya. It is the most beautiful waterfall. Antalya waterfall offers the opportunity to see the Mediterranean coast and gulf.

KURŞUNLU WATERFALL

It is located between pine forests 15 km from the city center. It has a beautiful nature where you can see trout, sea turtles and artificial lakes.

PERGE ANCIENT CITY

Perge is the best preserved Ancient Roman City in Antalya. Ancient Greco-Roman Theater, Stadium, Roman Bath, Agora and other ruins are quite impressive. Perge excavations have been organized by Istanbul University since 1946. It is the most popular ancient city in Antalya and its surroundings. Perge is 20 km from Antalya city center and is located in Aksu. There are nice bookstores about this ancient city.

ASPENDOS

If you want to see a real Roman theater, you should visit the world's best preserved Aspendos Theater. Aspendos is 40 km east of Antalya, and you can reach Antalya in 40 minutes. Opera and ballet performances are performed in this theater during summer nights. Do not miss Turkish dance groups and FIRE OF ANATOLIA shows in this modern amphitheater called ASPENDOS ARENA.
